Avanti is an award-winning social enterprise established in March 2010. Avanti’s LearningCenters provide low-income high-school students a world-class science and mathematicseducation and help them gain admission to India’s top engineering schools. Our centers have notrained teachers and very little conventional lecturing. In their place, we focus on teachingstudents how to learn from books and their peers – resources that are more abundant,accessible and consistent in quality. This year, Avanti will work with over 500 students in 8Indian cities. We are a small team with 30 full-time employees. Overview of the Role and RequirementsThe Print Production Specialist will be responsible for creating Avanti’s print material. We arelooking for self-driven candidates with excellent production and organizational skills and anattention to detail. Previous experience in print production or as a typist will be appreciated.

Requirements

Typing Speed minimum 30-40 words per minute

Proficiency with typing in Hindi

Knowledge of Internet, MS Office

Fair knowledge of Quark Express, Page maker, Adobe in-design, illustrator etc.

Proficiency in typing out scientific texts will be appreciated

Proficiency in print production will be appreciated

Profile in verbal and written communication in Hindi & English
