Avanti is an award-winning social enterprise established in March 2010. Avanti’s Learning
Centers provide low-income high-school students a world-class science and mathematics
education and help them gain admission to India’s top engineering schools. Our centers have no
trained teachers and very little conventional lecturing. In their place, we focus on teaching
students how to learn from books and their peers – resources that are more abundant,
accessible and consistent in quality. This year, Avanti will work with over 500 students in 8
Indian cities. We are a small team with 30 full-time employees. Avanti is supported by among the

Overview of the Role and Requirements
The Print Production Specialist will be responsible for creating Avanti’s print material. We are
looking for self-driven candidates with excellent production and organizational skills and an
attention to detail. Previous experience in print production or as a typist will be appreciated.
Roles and Responsibilities 

1. Subjec Module Creation
• Work with Avanti’s Content team to create subject modules
• Type out the problem sets and necessary material
• Manage the production quality of the modules
2. Module Print Production Responsibilities
• Manage the printing process of modules
• Work with vendors to make sure the printed material is of the appropriate quality
• Conceptualization of designing needs for printing materials
3. Curriculum Creation
• Work with Avanti’s curriculum team to create study material

Requirements
• Typing Speed minimum 30-40 words per minute
• Proficiency with typing in English
• Knowledge of Internet, MS Office
• Fair knowledge of Quark Express, Page maker, Adobe in-design, illustrator etc.
• Proficiency in typing out scientific texts will be appreciated
• Proficiency in print production will be appreciated
• Profile in verbal and written communication in English
