We believe in robust, pragmatic and sustainable solutions to build values into business and benefit workers Job Title: Project & Business Coordinator Location: New Delhi, India Pay Grade: Project & Business Coordinator Grade Reports to: TBC Responsible for: The Project & Business Coordinator will support Impactt’s project staff in the delivery of training, assessments, research and other projects throughout India. They will also be responsible for office management, IT, logistics and providing any other administrative support. Travel across North & South India will be necessary. The Project & Business Coordinator will support and work with the rest of the Impactt team. They will be a key contributor to Impactt’s vision: “To be the global leader in enabling organisations and individuals to improve workers’ livelihoods as an integral part of profitable and sustainable trade” The Project & Business Coordinator has the following responsibilities, working with the rest of the India team and all Impactt offices: Personal attributes: The Project & Business Coordinator should have and display the following personal attributes:

Growth: Supporting Impactt as the leader in enabling organisations and individuals to improve workers’ livelihoods as an integral part of profitable and sustainable trade by:
  • Supporting Impactt project staff to deliver a variety of client projects, the post-holder will primarily support on the “Benefits for Business & Workers”
  • Liaising with all project partners in a timely, organised and respectful manner
  • Arranging project logistics including venues, accomodation, transport, catering etc
  • Carrying out visits to factories to engage with management & workers and follow-up on project progress
  • Interviewing workers to understand their experiences and aspirations
Carrying out basic data analysis (in Excel) and writing project updates / reports Efficiency: To improve and maintain processes to support Impactt as the leader in enabling organisations and individuals to improve workers’ livelihoods as an integral part of profitable and sustainable trade by:
  • Providing the UK Finance team with regular updates about income and expenditures, to ensure the India team meets its annual budget.
  • Supporting the process of setting up Impactt’s legal entity in India.
  • Managing the India workflow and sending to the UK team on a weekly basis.
  • Supporting the India team by entering expenses.
  • Supporting the Impactt team with travel requirements, itineraries and visas
  • Supporting the Impactt team with visa/invitation requirements.
  • Organising Retreats and company events.
  • Office management and maintenance including liaison with landlord and suppliers (water, electricity, internet etc).
  • Managing all company equipment i.e. laptops, phones, hard drives etc.
  • Finding a suitable local IT service provider and liaising with them to ensure smooth IT services
  • Setting up a server for the India office.
  • Company filing for India office.
Capacity: Share skills and expertise through systems to support Impactt as the leader in enabling organisations and individuals to improve workers’ livelihoods as an integral part of profitable and sustainable trade by:
  • Working with line manager to identify and address personal development needs
  • Meeting personal objectives set out in the postholder’s personal development plan
  • Working with all stakeholders to deliver best possible services
  • Developing a broader knowledge of ethical trade and Impactt methodologies
  • Asking questions/for clarifications as and when needed
By delivering on these responsibilities, the postholder will make a significant contribution to Impactt’s 5-year global outcomes: Positive impacts on 6 million workers Working with 150 clients Team of 70 people £6 million turnover High performing team
