The primary duties will include :
- Serve as an internal expert and an external representative of Skill Development Division.
- Defining vision, mission and funding strategy.
- Responsible for the close coordination with Business associate, Potential Government department and existing Government Bodies.
- Responsible for managing centers of Skill Development & Training project.
- Responsible to empower all individual through improved skills, knowledge, qualifications, to provide access to decent employment.
- Participate in the development of new project proposals.
- Developing strategy to facilitate employment of youth through vocational and life skills trainings.
- Getting engaged with business houses and potential employers for job placement to the trained youth.
- Responsible for Capacity building of resource persons on employment and vocational training.
- Developing customized vocational & life skill courses in alignment with the needs & requirements of potential employers.
- Creating awareness amongst youth about job opportunities in the market and provide career counseling.
- Mobilizing/identifying suitable youth for appropriate vocational course.
- Preparing implementation road map and budget.
- Raising the red flag with respect to problem areas.
- Conceptualize and facilitate development of MIS, Developing reporting framework, MIS, monitoring & evaluation tools and analysis and feedback into program.
- Monitoring & reviewing of all program components as per schedule and sharing progress reports on a timely basis for the same.
- Travel being a part of the job, one should undertake periodic visits to project areas and selected partners to extend supportive supervision of activity implementation.
