Immediate Requirements For Linux Administrator

Profile : System Administrator (Linux) As a Systems and networking engineer your day to day tasks involve remotely monitoring and maintain our servers in various datacenters nationwide and in Sri Lanka. In addition, you will also monitor and maintain network devices and Linux and Windows systems (desktops and servers) in our office. You will also be assigned tasks to configure new systems or network devices like a new server, router or firewall and also reconfigure or make changes to existing servers like the Squid Proxy server or the mail servers etc. or make changes to network devices like firewalls etc. This is a tremendous opportunity for you to learn new technologies and work on advanced and challenging assignments. Growth is based upon knowledge and skill. Our Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university or related field or equivalent military or industry experience
• Advanced degree from a reputable university or related field or equivalent military or industry experience
• Minimum 2 years experience in Red Hat Linux
• Red Hat Certification is required.
• Minimum 2 years experience in networking (configuring firewalls, routers, managed switches) etc.
• CCNA is highly preffered
• Knowledge of KVM virtualization is preffered.
• Must know how to configure Squid proxy, Sentmail and Dovecot servers, FTP server and Samba server.
• Knowledge of Linux shell scripting and crontab is required.
• Experience with configuring and monitoring Juniper devices is a major plus but not a requirement.
• Must be able to work 2 night shifts a week.
