PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
4 Engineers are being recruited into the PI HANA Data Management Organization in Pune. The engineers will be engaged on SAP ASE Core development. There would be four positions at T1 (Developer Associate) level.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
- 1. Design new subsystems for ASE
- 2. Fix defects with existing subsystems in ASE.
- 3. Implement/Code development projects that adhere to the design.
- 4. Conduct functional, performance and stress testing of the subsystems developed.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- Proficiency in systems programming using C/ C++. Java experience desirable
- Unix / Linux platform experience is a must. Windows experience desirable
- Exposure to multi-user, multi-threading, kernel level programming. SQL programming desirable
- Knowledge of DBMS internals such as query processing, access methods internals, transaction management, process scheduling and networking desirable
- Experience in RDBMS Development and Performance Engineering desirable
WORK EXPERIENCE
- M.Tech (CS/IT) with 0 to 3 years experience
- M.Tech students that will graduateIIT, IIIT Hyderabad, BITS Pilani in July, 2012/2013/2014 would be preferred.
