Job Location: Bangalore, India

We have an exciting position available for an Expert Software Developer (Java/J2EE / JavaScript). These roles offer a market equitable base salary, plus bonus potential in addition to a robust benefits and PTO package.

In this role, you will enhance and/or create new software functionality. You will help with the design of components while resolving/troubleshooting issues found within the application. You’ll also be involved in full SDLC activities.

• Expert in Design and Development work with Java, J2EE and JavaScript.

• Participate in and provide an educated POV (point of view) during team meetings and development sessions.

• Lead POC’s for various solutions for the product.

• This role has limited client facing responsibilities. The majority of communications are with internal staff.

• Active participation in design discussions and be able to make decisions and propose trade-offs keeping the long and short term in to the picture.

• Test and document functionality.

• 7 plus years of Java /J2EE and  Java Web Development.

• Experience with web development frameworksSpring is desirable.

• Experience with ORM frameworkHibernate is required.

• Experience with XML/XSLT and XML binding frameworkJAXB required.

• Experience with Java Web development with  Struts 1.4/2.0 is desirable

• Experience with Rule engineDrools and ILOG is desirable.

• Commercial lending, banking or finance development experience a plus, but not required.

• Experience with data & analytics is ideal, but not required.

• Understanding of web services and JEE web Servers.

• Sun Certification (Programmer or Developer) is a plus, but not required.

• Experience doing Stress Testing is a plus, but not required.

• Experience in Enterprise Mobility is desired.

• J2EE / Web Performance tuning and a Hardware / Operating Systems background preferred.

• Strong and effective communication skills botha verbal and written perspective required.

• Team Player with ability to question the status quo.

• Build quality products with the “do it right the first time” mindset.

• Ability to build enterprise software, preferably in a distributed team using Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

• Seven Plus years of total experience in building software.
