Job Description
Main Accountabilities:
- Support the program/project manager in the development of project plans and project-related artifacts
- Manageactivities related to tracking of effort/actuals/cost on the project
- Assist Project Manager in preparing cost/benefit analyses and business case diligence
- Support the entire project team with various tasks to ensure project execution which will include being accountable in the execution/management of project subtasks
- Assist the Project Manager & Program Director in tracking, monitoring and following up on appropriate risk management practices throughout the project lifecycle
- Assist the Project Manager & Program Director to ensure that change, acceptance and approval management is proactive and effective onprojects.
- Ensure that appropriate processes, tools and techniques are used by the project teams. Apply and communicate processes and project management methodology and templates, contributing to continuous process improvements
- Assist the Project Manager in effectively and consistently delivering project status reporting updates on project accomplishments against milestones
- Manage the Central Database Repository forProjects within scope of the Project/Program assigned
- Gather and compile data required for presentation as well as prepare presentation documents/material
- Assist the Project Manager with the preparation of project meetings e.g. scheduling,
- Assist with the preparation of material for the integration of new team members

- Proficient level of communication and customer service skills
- Proficient level of knowledge of relevant business systems and practices of a department
- Works independently requiring little supervision

- Ability to multi-task

- Strong oral and written communication skills in English
- Good understanding of budget and forecasting processes
Assets:
- Project coordination experience (2-4 years)
- High level of skill using Sharepoint, Lotus Notes, Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office Suite of Products (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Visio)
- Experience in a life insurance industry.
- Project Management courses
