Job For Ruby on Rails - Developer

The Ruby on Rails developer is expected to be able to code, debug, maintain, build and deploy our Aisle application. Should also be able to write tests. Has to be self driven and able to manage their own time. The developer will also have the option of doing full stack development if they know or is interested in building the web UI coded using Angular JS.

Work Environment

We have a very dynamic start up environment. The team is just being built upscratch, and we wouldthe person to fit culturally into the environment. The team will be closely working with the CEO and CTO.

Requirements

• Speaks Ruby on Rails
• Is passionate about implementing and scaling RESTful applications.
• Good with data structures, algorithms and time complexity
• Experience in developing, releasing and maintaining large-scale Rails applications.
• He/she is an outstanding individual contributor and can prioritize tasks based on business needs.
• Confidence in picking up new languages, working with new APIs is a must.
• Has to be self driven
• Aptitude for AngularJS/other modern frontend technologies is desirable.
• Knowledge of responsive web development is a plus.
• Passion for native app development in IOS and/or Android will be very much valued.
