Citi Hiring Experienced C++ Programmer Analyst

Job Description C++ Programmer Analyst-15011617 Description The Global Equities Technology Department of Citi is currently looking to hire a C++ professional that will be located in India and work with Market Making team. The candidate is expected to join this team as a developer, working on our low latency Market Making Pricing Platform.

• Design, code, test equities functionality on the Market Making Platform
• Liaise with regional and global development team to ensure that the project needs are addressed in any framework development
• Analysis, design, development, testing, support and maintenance of market making applications
• Provide 2nd line support in hours and out of hours
• Work and liaise closely with other teams that are in scope of the project
• Write technical design and testing documents and provide innovative technical solutions

• Excellent knowledge of C++, multithreading, thread-pools and template programming with strong OOP and OOAD skills
• Experienced in developing real time low latency applications
• Exposure to or experience in Message driven architectures
• Good understanding of queries and stored procedures
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work with globally distributed teams
• Knowledge of test driven development

• Experience in front office trading applications, order management
• Systems, Market Making, FIX protocol, etc.
• Experience/understanding of messaging products such as TIBCO RV & EMS, JMS
• Experience/Understanding of Sybase
• Hands-on experience on C# will be a plus
• A university degree preferably in computer science or engineering
