Service Delivery for BPM, SOA and Java based Application Maintenance Projects.
Governance of the following Deliveries/services
1. Incident Management (ITIL )
2. Change Management (ITIL )
3. Release Management (ITIL )
4. WO management
Resource Assignments and efforts management
- For BAU Deliveries and Enhancement Projects (< 120 Mandays)
- Work Order delivered into UK.
Quality and Knowledge management
- Acrossdeliveries for the current Applications supported
Dev Project Management (Agile Methodologies)
Project Transition management
- Multi Vendor based applications Knowledge Transitions and
- Project Shadow and service delivery modeling.
Managing India Digital Technology Practice as the primary lead (Reports in to the New Technologies Practice Head)
- Provide inputs to Bids and Solutions to device the Capability framework.
- Planning and management of the various capabilities under Java and open source project portfolios.
It involves technical assessment and feasibility study of solutions developed by the Solutions teams and facilitating the resourcing and delivery of these solutions.
- Manage Research and Development of solutions vide PoCs (Big Data and Mobility).
- Design and Architecture reviews
- Business Wait resource management for Digital Practice,
- Facilitate and take part in resourcing/recruitment drives.
- Own the Digital Newsletter authoring and circulation.
- Co-own and conduct the Digital Practice Session (both as a presenter and organizer)
- Manage and Co-own Open source labs in the Chennai Center.
AM Offshoring, AM transition management, Project/ programme management, Continuous Service Improvements
Desired Skills and Experience
Extensive experience in Java and Open Source technologies practice management
Strong experience in Resource Capability management
Transition management and programme management
Exposure to following technology stacks
- BPM : IBM Lombardi Team Works 6.02
- Big Data & Predictive Analysis : CRAN-R, Apache Hadoop, MapR
- ERP Administration & Interface Development : ORACLE E-Biz Apps 11i, Lawson ERP (IOS services and LID and portal Interfaces).
- Core Programming / Scripting Languages : Java, C, C++, Tcl, expect
- Web Programming Languages : JSP, ASP, PHP, Java Script, Perl, XML
- GUI Dev Tools / IDEs : Visual C++ 6, Visual Studio .NET 2003, Visual Basic 6, Eclipse, Jswat, Remedy v6 .
- Databases Pogramming : PL/SQL, Oracle 10g, My-SQL, , MS-SQL, IBM DB2
- Operating Sytems : Sun Solaris, HP Unix, IBM I-series, AIX Unix, Red Hat Linux 7/ 8, Sco Unix, Windows 9X/2K.
- Server Administration : BEA Weblogic (WLS, ALDSP, DSP), Apache, Blazix, IBM Web sphere, IIS, JWS, Tomcat, Resin and LDAP servers (ADAM)
Must be willing to work in UK shifts.
