Business Area Description
The Global Equities Technology stack at J P Morgan is going through a strategic transformation (front to back). This is a multi-year programthe India Tech teams are involved heavily.  The technology stack used is predominantly Core Java, C# .NET, C++ and Sybase. We are hiring in the areas of Front Office, Middle Office Risk Management and Compliance Technologies.
The India Equities Technology organization is 250+ within JPMorgan’s Corporate and Investment Bank (CIB) organization and covers the following functions
-          Electronic Trading (Execution core components, Exchange Connectivity, Client on-boarding, DMA, Smart Order Routing - SoR, Algorithmic Trading, Data Analytics etc )
-          Flow Sales and Trading (Front Office Sales and Trading Order Management systems and Reporting)
-          Risk Management and Structured products
-          Middle office Trade Booking and Regulatory
-          Compliance Technology
Shares Services (Architecture group, Shared components and QA)
Role Description:
Develop connectivity applications for electronic trading with heavy emphasis on low-latency.
The Jisu team in Electronic Trading Technology is looking for a junior ultra low-latency connectivity developer.  The ideal candidate should have exceptionally strong programming skills in C++, and possess a good understanding of algorithms, data structures, operating systems, networks, and hardware.
We are a global team with developers in New York, London, Hong Kong, and Tokyo.  Our team has developed in-house low-latency connectivity applications that are both client and exchange facing.  We are looking to improve our application latency, make our applications more resilient and supportable, as we expand into markets for other asset classes.
 
Qualifications
 
Must-haves:
  • Strong C++.  At least 10-14 years of experience in C++
  • Linux/Unix
  • TCP/IP socket programming skills
  • Object-oriented programming skills
Desired:
  • FIX (www.fixprotocol.org)
  • Equities, Futures, and Options Exchange Connectivity experience
  • Kernel tuning and low-level system programming
  • Concurrent data structures
  • Understanding of low-level TCP/IP network protocols.
