Senior PHP developer & Project Manager

Job Requirements

1) Senior PHP developer

• Experience with the following technologies OOAD/OOPS (Object Oriented Programming) PHP 5, MySQL 5, any framework like Zend/codeigniter/CakePHP etc.
• Very strong understanding and hands-on in DOM, HTML, DHTML, XML, CSS, JavaScript, AngularJS, JQuery/Prototype and AJAX.
• 2 yrs min (current) of hands-on work experience in PHP & MySQL
• Very strong understanding of database technologies and SQL Optimization.
• Hands on experience in few payment gateways. Like PayPal, Google Checkout, CCAvenue etc
• Knowledge in any CMS. Like Drupal, Wordpress, Joomla, Magento will give extra privilege
• Experience in common third-party APIs (google, facebook, ebay etc)
• Exposure and understanding of online consumer applications and related challenges.
• Strong writing & communication (especially listening) skills.
• Very strong in analytical, problem-solving and innovation skills.
• Clear understanding of product development environment and methodologies.

2) Project Manager

• Sound knowledge of web development & custom PHP programming with one or more open sources such as Joomla, Drupal, CakePHP, and Magento etc
• Knowledge in Mobile development (iOS or Android) will be a plus
• Proficient in iterative development methodologies like Agile, RUP etc.
• Experience in client relationship management, project coordination and delivery management in an onsite-offshore model
• PMP Certification will be an added advantage
• Guide and mentor reporting project leads and create high performing project teams
• Estimate the work and plan the delivery schedule including tasks, milestones, and dependencies
• Monitor the progress of a project and ensure regular publishing of status report and quality metrics
• Track the risks and issues and work to actively resolve/mitigate
• Ensure that project activities are undertaken and completed as per the the organizations processes and standards
• Suggest improvements in system development process / application areas
• Provide recommendations and help direct reports with talent management, objective setting, career development, job rotations, fair and timely appraisals, pipeline management, training, and identification of high potentials, under-performers.
• Create an efficient and effective organization structure. Ensure chargeability and utilization of staff.
• Work collaboratively to optimize resource management, cross-fertilize ideas, and resolve conflicts and bottlenecks
• Good knowledge of industry standard project management and methodologies
