Database Architect/Designer

1) Desired Candidate Profile must have ability to design, development, support, and optimization of production ready database systems. 2) Stored procedure, Functions, triggers and cursor, database tuning and database optimization. 3) Source Database maintenance/ Tuning/ Security/ Permissions/ Backup, SQL Query. 4) ERD , DFD in Visio 5) Candidate must have strong mathematical background.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES: • Analyses business needs to develop specific functional requirements for applications software. • Diagnoses software problems to determine cause, and develops and implements appropriate solutions. • Designs and maintains relational databases. • Assists in planning for the development of large scale integrated management information systems. • Researches and recommends appropriate technical solutions to meet functional requirements. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities • Working knowledge of Application Suite, SQL , MYSQL, PL/SQL • Shell Script ( Extra) • Knowledge of advanced data processing concepts, terminology and programming methodology and techniques. • Knowledge of one (1) or more high level computer programming languages.( extra ) • Knowledge of software engineering life cycle methodologies.(extra) • Knowledge of accounting principles.(extra) • Ability to learn new programming languages, hardware platforms and conform to Lottery programming standards. • Ability to think logically, and to analyse and solve problems. • Ability to interpret technical information and communicate effectively to technical and non-technical staff and management. • Ability to identify, analyse and define user system needs
