Job Description

Job Description: As the Marketing Program Manager, you will play an important role in supporting key activities in the marketing mix with both events and digital lead-generation activities including webinars, email marketing and online advertising. We are looking for a Marketing Programs Manager whose primary role is to lead the strategy, development and execution of lead generation programs that create awareness and interest with customers and prospects. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Participate in the development and implementation of direct and channel marketing plans, including segment assessment, customer segmentation and prioritization, distribution assessment, communication plans, and product mix prioritization. • Recommend and implement sales and marketing strategies that improve the effectiveness of the sales approach at each stage of the sales funnel and improve close ratios. • Recommend and manage annual marketing budget for a given program(s). • Assess and recommend industry trade shows, industry events and organizations that support the marketing and sales strategy. • Craft and evangelize the overarching value-based messaging and differentiating positioning for our products that compels target audiences to engage. • Interface with sales and marketing teams to enhance communications at all levels of the sales organization. • Partner with Product Management to ensure that marketing messages are high-quality, powerful, accurate and up-to-date reflections of the product roadmap; produce internally- and externally-facing materials that are infused with value-based messaging • Assist in the direction of the collection of market and competitive data. • Personally interact with customers to gather information on industry developments and to identify opportunities. Identify market trends. Utilize this data and analysis in the development of marketing strategies. • Establish financial targets for segment and ensure resources are aligned to achieve success. • Create and maintain an environment of partnership and collaboration with sales, and with other departments, to ensure the attainment of overall company goals. • Actively develop employees through coaching and professional skills training. Ensure career & succession planning, and talent management processes are in place. • Drive and grow lead generation efforts. • Manage web site marketing & digital channel integration, content development, conversion optimization, etc. • Develop, implement, and execute innovative digital strategies. • Manage, measure, and optimize campaigns with weekly/quarterly/annual recommendations for improvement and growth. Analyze performance data, build dashboards and track key program metrics. • Manage vendor and partner relationships, projects, and activities across to attain overarching strategic goals and milestones • Serve as a spokesperson in customer meetings, press interviews, industry analyst calls, industry events, etc. • Research and understand market, product, and competitive dynamics and socialize findings and recommendations with Product Management, Sales and other Marketing colleagues Job Requirements : • Data- and results-driven, passionate about technology and marketing – and enjoy working in a fun team environment. • Minimum of 5 years of marketing experience, including 3 or more years focused on product marketing for a software company • Strong people management and interpersonal skills, including experience managing a team of product marketing professionals (internal and external) • Be able to work full time in our Waltham, MA, office • A Bachelor’s degree is required, an MBA is desirable
