JOB DESCRIPTION Business Executive / Senior Business Executive / Officer / Sr. Officer / ______________________________________________________________________

PRIME OBJECTIVES :

Develop business in the jurisdiction specified. Develop & Maintain a Customer Oriented Service System Handle problematic complaints Retention of Customer a midst service inefficiencies A sales-person’s job has many variations like Service, Billing, Quality Operations,. These are the various responsibilities to be carried on by our sales team.

ACTION PLAN FOR THE MONTH

1. The Management has prescribed a Monthly Sales Action Plan Report which has to be duly filled in by the Sales Force. 2. Each Executive has to give a detailed action plan, to achieve the revenue target given to him/his jurisdiction for the successive month 3. Action Plan Report is an analysis (or) course of action statement (or) a break up of revenue expected from existing customers & revenue expected thru new sales.

PRE PLAN THE DAY

1. Pre Plan Calls to be made, on a daily basis. This is the prime function to be performed by a Sales Executive before he starts his day. 2. Planning is made based on the superior’s guidelines. 3. The Executive needs to record his Planned Calls, in the Sales Software.

ANALYSE LESS PROJECTION

1. The Executive needs to have updated information on the business given by existing customers in his territory. If he doubts less projection in a customer’s regular business, he needs to personally visit the customer to enquire and gather reasons as to why there was a decrease in business. 2. Sales Software helps executives by showing less projection report. When an executive enters his day’s plan, the software displays less projection customers list. Based on this information, an executive can plan his calls.

BRING IN NEW REVENUE

1. The key role of our sales force should be to bring in new revenue through new customers. New Revenue would increase our Market Share.

PROVIDE SERVICE TO CUSTOMERS

1. The Sales Personnel should gather hands on information about the current service issues faced by his customers. 2. Coordinate with the Operations/Customer Service Department to ensure smooth functioning. 3. Prioritize his time to attend to such Customers. He could either make a telephone call or personally visit the customer depending on the gravity of the issue.
