Air Conditioner Engineering Role and Responsibilities: • PPM and extra work requirements in adherence to set engineering standards in accordance with HASAWA requirements including: - • Check and inspection of all plant and equipment • Carry out maintenance tasks in accordance with contract specification • Fault finding/plant adjustments • Interface with specialist sub-contractors • Implement QA and H&S procedures • Respond to reactive works • Fault finding and plant adjustments. • Check and inspection of HV/AC services, plant and systems. • Execution of maintenance tasks in accordance with contract specification. • General duties will require multi skilled discipline to carry our work such as relamping luminaires, fault finding to electrical wiring systems, motors, generators, lighting systems, chillers, AHU’s alone with cleaning of foul water systems, foul drains, inspections and repair of all M&E systems such as extract and supply air ductwork systems, plumbing and heating systems • Air Conditioning engineers usually perform many of the following tasks: • Providing technical information to clients. • Inspecting air conditioning systems. • Diagnosing faulty equipment. • Buying materials. • Supervising craft workers. Key Skills:- • A logical approach to fault finding. • Well presentable and able to work within a client facing corporate environment. • Able to work in a pressurized environment. • Having leadership abilities. • Being practical. • Having good written and spoken communication skills. • Being able to work at heights. • Having interpersonal abilities. • Being able to meet deadlines. • Having knowledge about national and European legislation on refrigerants. • Being aware of safety issues. • Having good math skills. • Being able to read technical drawings. Qualification of Experience :- Graduation from high school or its equivalent & completion of a recognized apprentice training program of at least four year’s duration in the heating and air conditioning trade & one year of full time ,paid journey –level experience in the heating and air conditioning trade.
