Air Conditioner Installer

Air Conditioner Installer Role and Responsibilities: • Installs heating, air conditioning, ventilation and refrigeration equipment, as well as other products in accordance with company requirements and manufacture specifications • Works under minimum supervision • Provides guidance and knowledge to HVAC Installer Helper on proper skills and training of HVAC installation jobs • Designs, fabricates and installs various ducts and duct fittings as required. • Completes all paperwork in a neat, accurate, thorough and timely manner • Performs start-up on air conditioning systems as needed • Responsible for delivery of excellent customer service and sustaining high levels of customer satisfaction • Follows standard procedures and process to ensure that the company vehicle is properly stocked, returns defective and unused parts to the division and orders and replenishes vehicle stock as needed Qualifications include:- • High school diploma/GED • 2+ years HVAC installation experience preferred • Degree in Heating and Air Conditioning Technology a plus • NATE certification preferred • Experience with boilers, radiant floor heating systems, ductless and high velocity systems preferred Key Skills • Clean and neat appearance • Clean driving record • Must submit to a drug screening and criminal background check • Must have own “basic tools” • Must be knowledgeable with residential furnace and air conditioning units • Excellent customer service and communication skills. • Effective and efficient time management and organizational skills. • Proficient mechanical aptitude and the ability to operate all necessary tools and equipment. • Commitment to quality work and respect for homeowner’s property. Experience: - 2 – 3 year experience.
