Senior Engineer, Software Development

JOB DESCRIPTION: • Develop web applications with impeccable coding standards • Document the features, functionality and other modules • Take initiative to solve complex technical problems • Create effort estimates for new projects • Your learning curve has to be two steps ahead of your peers DESIRED PROFILE: • In-depth experience in developing solutions using PHP5, MySQL5 and AJAX for implementing complex UX & UI • Custom web application programming and unit testing experience • Knowledge of CSS, XML, advanced JavaScript and jQuery • Drupal, OSCommerce, WordPress and PHP experience is required • MVC compliant understanding in at least one of these frameworks (Yii/CodeIgniter/CakePHP/Zend/Symfony) • Technically sound in OOPS concepts and exposure to medium-scale projects using wireframes and Content Management System (CMS) • Should have good knowledge of custom and feature module development in Drupal and WordPress • Must have good communication skills • Take complete responsibility of projects from start to finish
