Job Description

Summary of Job Profile:

To make the Sales & Service operations profitable in the assigned region and contribute in the overall growth of the organization by enhancing the revenues, penetrating the brand and utilizing the resources to render effective services to the end customers Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• To administer the branch operations efficiently. • To ensure prudent / productive utilization of Branch funds/resources/peoplr/facilities • To ensure the profitability of the Branches as per the target and increasing the same further through increasing the revenue from the sales and service operations and reducing the Branch overheads • To sustain the existing growth pattern of the business and ensure the consistent growth inview the changing business scenario and corporate business policies • Explore the business forecast from time to time from Trade sales/ Institutional sales interact with Corporate sales/ Marketing team and initiating measures for converting the forecast in to sales • Visiting to the Branches / Channel partners and motivating them to achieve the desired Sales volumes • To keep informed the R&D from time to time for potential/ feasible market base/customer expectations/customer complaints and suggestions for up-grading the product quality/new product developments • To work for enhancing the competence level of the employees of the Branches falling under the jurisdiction. Coordinate with HR foe executing such measures. Review the effectiveness of the same and suggest the CAPA if any • Periodic review of the Branch Manager/ Sales Executives and initiate the corrective and preventive measures • To work for the product promotion/ brand enhancement/ visibility promotion and new products launch as per the guidelines of the Corporate Sales /Marketing. • To make, review, strengthen, implement the policies related to the Pricing/ Incentives/ Schemes/ Promotion / for the Branches schemes as per the guidelines of the CEO and suggest the customized schemes/ incentives from time to time wherever required increase the market size. • To ensure the optimum level of levels of inventory at Branches/ conduct surprise stock audits/ disposal of the defective stocks periodically in all the branches. • To enhance the channel base as per the directions of the management to cater the needs of the augmented business. • To review the Sales and Services effectiveness at the desired frequency and submit the report to the management • To ask for the structured MIS from all the branches, analyze the effectiveness of the operations and initiate the CAPA wherever required. • To ensure all legal and statutory compliances about Branch operations under various laws/ state rules as applicable on the state. • To submit MIS to the Management a per the desired frequency and parameters

Performance Measures: • Total Sales achieved against the targets. • Total Revenue collected v/s targets from /Sales and Service Centers • Profit achieved against the target • Branch overhead v/s sales against the targets • Periodic review of the Productivity of the Manpower • New market development /growth in the existing business • Product visibility enhancement/brand promotion • Customer satisfaction/ Distributor’s Satisfaction index • Inventory minimization initiatives • People retention/development time to time • Legal/statutory compliances Competencies required to successfully perform the job:
