1. Job Description

As a Flight Planning and Quality Control Technician, the candidate will use the software and work documents to generate flight maps in support of aerial data acquisition. Flight planning will be in support of Digital, Film, and LIDAR missions throughout many regions in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The Quality Control portion of the position will focus on post flight evaluation of imagery, GPS/IMU data and LIDAR data. This will also include delivery of digital and film products and accompanying QC documentation.

Growth in this position will include opportunities for GIS/Map design, workflow design, imagery post production, GPSIMU post processing and LIDAR processing.

The candidate will be required to learn and understand advanced principles of aerial photography and photogrammetry including LIDAR airborne GPS and inertial navigation systems (IMU).

In addition to successful operation of Flight Planning, the position will require other duties including, but not limited to: QA/QC of acquired imagery ; GIS and Mapping tasks ; Photogrammetry tasks and general office duties.

2. Position Requirements

- 2-5 years’ experience with GIS, Flight Management Systems, Aerial Survey. - Excellent communication skills (Oral & Written). - Proven computer literacy and proficiency in MS Word, Excel & Outlook. - Capable of learning advanced software programs.

3. Education & Experience

No specific education requirements, preferring experience in the field. However an university degree in Geography, GIS, Survey Engineering or any related field will be a surplus.
