Ph. D Position in Chemical Engineering (JRF/SRF)

The Department of Chemical Engineering Interfaces and Nanomaterials Laboratory, National Institute of Technology, Rourkela is looking for a Ph. D position in the area of interfacial phenomena. The position is under a sponsored project entitled “Fundamental Investigations of Cationic Surfactants with Bitumen Product Components” from Shell Technology Centre, Bangalore. The project is mainly focused on the interfacial behavior and interfacial rheology of bitumen products. A portion of the project will be implemented with the bitumen R&D team and exploratory research team of Shell Technology Centre, Bangalore, for that student needs to work some time at Shell Technology R& D Centre, Bangalore. The student is expected to gain a good fundamental knowledge, as well as industrial exposure. We have a good well equipped laboratory with many sophisticated instrumental facility. The selected student will receive a fellowship of 18,000 p.m (for two years), and 20,000 p. m for third years. Interested, hard working, and highly motivated students toward research with B.
