Regulatory Affairs & Research Assistant

Crop Defenders Ltd is a Canadian Controlled Bio-Control Company that was established in 2007. We are the fastest growing bio-control company in North America and located in Leamington (Ontario). We provide eco-safe integrated pest management (IPM) solutions for horticulture and agriculture industry including beneficial insects, predatory mites, bio-pesticides, pheromones and insect traps. Location: Leamington, Ontario, Canada Responsibilities Include:
Review and organize literature on macrobials
Serve as a liaison with the manufacturer to collect information for compilation of dossiers.
Evaluation of data and preparation of rationals
Maintaining internal records and database
Preparing documentation, organization of dossiers and applications for the registration
Monitoring the progress of regulatory submissions and responding to queries from regulatory agencies.
Provide detailed label reviews to ensure products are compliant
Conduct regulatory compliance audits
Write research proposals and plan of work for research studies
Organize and conduct trials on bio-fertilizer and bio-pesticides
Write up project reports Qualifications Include:
BS degree in Biological Science; preferably Microbiology
Experience in pesticide or bio-pesticides regulatory would be an asset
Proven ability to work independently or as a member of a multidisciplinary team
Proven ability to manage multiple projects
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills
Detail oriented
