Content Writer

Job Responsibilities
 

1.Ability to write engaging content for websites/print/company blogs

2.Create content which gives website readers access to information in a simple, easy to understand language.
3. Generate content, making smart use of keywords. The text should have relevant keywords and variations for better search engine ranking and indexing.

4. Awareness of Search Engine Optimization (SEO), internet marketing trends is a plus.

5. Ensuring timely and quality deliverables.
 
6. Working on daily SLA and deadline driven processes.

7. Writing & editing content to ensure it meets the quality standards for accuracy and style (checking spelling, grammar, coherence; imposing consistent style; resolving research).

8. Demonstrate superior English language skills and copywriting finesse

9. Act as a Level 1 quality filter for content generated by content supply chain and internal partners, applying house style guidelines to ensure top-drawer content 

Desired Skills 

1. Excellent communication & writing skills with Minimum of 3 years of experience
 
2. Should be a grammar Nazi, have an unfailing eye for perfection, have creative stamina

3. Should be able to demonstrate understanding of how content impacts brand image and how to incorporate suitable marketing messages in written copy where required

4. Domain experience in writing for education/training in states or any e-commerce domain is a plus

5. SEO copywriting best practices knowledge for on-page and off-page copy.

6. Experience with Word press or equivalent CMS preferred.

Salary Range: Assured Standard Hike on Current Package.
