Job Description

  • To perform vision tests and analyze results. Prescribe correct vision to customers.
  • To diagnose sight problems, such as nearsightedness or farsightedness etc.
  • To promote eye health by counselling patients/customers, including explaining how to clean use and care of contact lenses and spectacles.
  • To prescribe correct vision power to customers.
  • To manage the retail aspects of spectacles, contact lenses and other vision care products;
  • Responsible for processing payments and maintain records of transactions.
  • To provide patients with fitted eyeglass, frames and required contact lenses.
  • Welcome, customers by greeting them, offering them assistance. To talk politely and respectfully with customers.
  • To help customers, make selections by building customer confidence, offering suggestions and opinions.
  • To prepare sales action plans strategies and execution.
  • To develop and maintain a customer database.
  • To negotiate and convince customers regarding prices of the products for maximum sales profits.
  • To prepare and present sales analysis.
  • To maintain sales activity records, prepare sales reports and do sales analysis.
  • To respond to sales enquiries and concerns by phone, electronically or in person.
  • To ensure customer service satisfaction, good client relationships and follow up on sales activities.
  • To monitor competitors, market conditions and product development etc.
