Roles & Responsiblities:
1. Tune / Troubleshoot performance
2. Maintain Backup software (Backup Server side)
3. Troubleshoot Backup software (Backup Server side) and hardware problems
4. Ensure periodic check of Backup Restoration process
5. Restore Backup Server (Complete restore) and data
6. Configure Backup Software (Server Side)
7. Configure Backup server and upgrade backup software
8. Configure and restore the backup clients for online backup for applications and database example, Oracle, Exchange etc.
9. Troubleshoot the missed/failed backups
10. Install/Up grade the backup client software
11. Configure backups for clustered backup clients
12. Restore data on clustered (high availability) client
13. Automate the Backup Reporting
14. Assign LUNs to Hosts
15. Troubleshoot Storage Software problem
16. Provide storage based Replication Support (within and outside the storage arrays)
17. Administer the Advance Fabric Management and Software tasks
18. Provide Storage Software Maintenance support (example, configuration backups etc.)
19. Provide Storage Hardware Maintenance support (example, configuration backups etc )
20. Provide Storage Operational processes documentation updates
21. Allocate and deallocate storage (excludes replicated storage configuration)
22. Troubleshoot Storage Hardware problem
23. Configure storage automated monitoring
24. Create new backup/ restore Job policy
25. Upgrade the application version
