Web Designer

Drawing up detailed website specifications
Create site layout/user interface by using standard HTML/CSS practices
Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas
Designing sample page layouts including text size, colors, graphics, animations and manipulating digital photographs
Designing the website's visual imagery and ensuring it is in line with company branding policy or the requirements of the client
Working with different content management systems like WordPress, Joomla etc.
Basic knowledge of Search Engine Optimization process
Understanding of how to design for a wide range of resolutions and devices
Preparing marketing materials including concept development to page layout
Editing and formatting existing documents including brochures, presentations, etc.
Performing quality control checks at all steps
Exhibiting creative thinking through his/her designs, while understanding and adhering to corporate branding standards
Developing a catalogue of images using graphics, graphs, and text to use in technical documents

Technical Skills Required:
Strong knowledge in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and JQuery
Strong hands on on web development tools like Adobe Dreamweaver, Visual Studio 2008/2010 etc.
Adobe InDesign * Photoshop and Illustrator
MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
Browser compatibility and testing
