Job Description
Monitoring and Maintaining OTT TV platform and ensuring service availability with 99.999%
Monitoring and Maintaining CDN network and ensuring content is delivered with minimal delay
Application monitoring on multiple devices (iOS, Android, Connected TV, PC & Set Top Box.,)
Demonstrable understanding of cloud Operations
Configuration Management Experience (Puppet, Chef, CFEngine, Salt)
Ticket management with vendors and service providers. Escalation of tickets not conforming to SLA standards
Experience with Asset Management tools/process
Ensuring KPIs are met to set standards
Acting as Level 1 point of contact supporting business-critical services
Prioritising and resolving day-to-day systems issues and business requests
Effectively managing client expectations and escalating where appropriate
Involvement in a weekly/monthly patching activities and business-driven enhancements
Assisting with process improvements, systems integration and BCP efforts
Ensuring that incident, problem, and change management processes and procedures are followed and adhered to
Reviewing and improving operational processes, procedures, and documentation associated with the operation of these systems
Establish networking environment by system configuration, system installation, defining, documenting, and enforcing system standards.
Maximize network performance by monitoring performance, troubleshooting network problems and outages, scheduling upgrades and collaborating with network architects on network optimization.
Undertake network fault investigations in local and wide area environments, using information from multiple sources.
Secure network system by establishing and enforcing policies, and defining and monitoring access.
Report network operational status by gathering, prioritizing information and managing projects.
Upgrade data network equipment to latest stable firmware releases.
Configuration of routing and switching equipment.
Remote support of on-site engineers and end users/customers during installation.
Remote troubleshooting and fault finding with customer and resolving issues
Liaise with service providers via email and phone for resolving issues.
