Job Description

 Major accountabilities of position:

Manage a team of 4-5 admissions editors and monitor the following: 

  1. Oversee workload management of the team and ensure that each team member is getting 100% utilized

  2. Quality check edited drafts done by editors and share valuable feedback/inputs wherever necessary

  3. Provide support to the appraisals process and overall team management.

  4. Train and develop existing and new team members

  5. Manage complaint handling & resolution

  6. Act as mentor/confidante/guide for team members and help them become self-reliant

 

Establishes relationships with clients to provide high quality customer service by 

  1. Constantly engaging with clients (via phone, chat & email) and conduct brainstorming & strategy sessions in order to elicit required information needed for impactful applications.

  2. Editing/rewriting application drafts (essays/SOP, referee letters, resume etc and other written work) in order to create impactful applications depicting the strengths and personality of the clients.

  3. Ensuring that the clients’ applications are completed as per the defined timelines.

  4. Mentoring & guiding clients effectively

  5. Establishing good rapport with internal and external clients.

 

Adheres to the standard operating procedures for self and team 

  1. Follows the First-In-First Out Method (FIFO) for sending edited drafts to clients

  2. Finishes a university’s work as per the set timelines

  3. Keeps the admissions counsellors in the loop for all client interactions via email

  4. Closes client cases as per the defined timelines mentioned in the Standard Operating Procedure

  5. Maintaining reports such as Client Status, Word Count, City Calling, Log-in-Log Out Report

 

Contributes to team activities 

Assists in fire fighting or taking up extra cases during team crisis

Contributing to content development related activities as per requirement in the team or the organisation

Helps in internal trainings, presentations as per need
