Job Description:

A responsible and experienced Controls Engineer is required who will work with PLC and Automotive and must have experience in Debug of PLC Allen Bradley Control Logix and or Siemens Step 7.

Qualification and Experience:

• Must have 4 years or more of PLC Programming Debug over all experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Degree of BSEE or BSCS preferred.
• Must have hands on experience in Programming, Debug of PLC using Allen Bradley Control Logix and or Siemens Step 7.
• Siemens Step 7
• Strong working knowledge of machine control systems, also including hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Working knowledge of machine control operator interfaces
• High level of analytical ability where problems are unusual & difficult
• Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive industry.
• H1/B1/EAD or any Indians who have more than 5yrs experience will work.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform Programming, debugging.
• Responsible for PLC.
• Integrate and validate controls during system, sub-system and component qualification and verify conformance up to full vehicle function.
• Collaborate and negotiate with customer regarding control system requirements, interfaces, and product development progress.
• Follow Program Management and Stage Gate development processes to meet project goals.
• Create and maintain program timing plans to meet customer deadlines
• Provide daily direct plant controls support
