Fleet Supervisor

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

 

In charge of the day to day operations of the fleet to ensure timely delivery of material for the customers

Efficiently managing a team of drivers and vehicles

Responsible for all of the dispatching, routing, and tracking of delivery vehicles

Ensuring company compliance of all transport policies, legislation and procedures

Being the first point of contact for all drivers

Making sure that all transport fleet vehicles are properly maintained and serviced

Ensuring that the customer’s get highest levels of service

Maintaining accurate administrative records

Organizing vehicle checks

Identifying operational issues, potential problems and opportunities

Resolving and managing queries and complaints courteously and efficiently

Appraising staff performance and also taking disciplinary measures when required

Able to work diplomatically in a unionized environment

 

QUALIFICATIONS

 

DESIRABLE- Graduate

 

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

 

1 – 2 years in managing fleets and transportation works in logistics

COMPUTER LITERACY REQUIRED

 

Basic Computer knowledge with the ability to read and write emails. Basic knowledge of MS Office is also desirable

SALARY

 

Rs. UP TO TO 12,000/-
