JOB DESCRIPTION :
RESPONSIBILITIES:
System testing of projects and code
Suggest areas to continually improve the delivery of the project both in terms of quality and cost.
Maintaining and driving continuous quality improvement in meeting customer requirements
Producing test strategies, test plans, defect tracking, requirements capture and analysis to agreed deadlines
Planning and estimating work stream-related activities accurately with senior project members
Demonstrating a flexible and pragmatic approach to completing workload to ensure delivery within agreed timeframes
Understanding of the value of Testing in software development and how it relates to the wider concept of Quality
Understanding of front end and back end technologies and ability to work closely with developers
 

REQUIREMENTS:
Able to work as part of the self-organising team in which you determine your tasks on daily basis in coordination with co-workers rather than waiting for work to be assigned to you.
Experience of collaborating with programmers and business experts.
Good awareness of modern testing methodologies, practices and approaches and strong understanding of the system development life cycle (Waterfall, Agile – Scrum/XP/Lean/Kanban, RAD)
Exposure to mobile and how to test mobile web and mobile apps
Experience of different approaches to testing including Selenium, Watir and Cucumber
Experience of manual testing procedures and cross-browser testing
Awareness of the W3C WCAG 2.0 accessibility guidelines
