Provisioning Engineer

The Provisioning Engineer will be responsible for the delivery of SIM’s and Vouchers into respective country. Also be responsible for managing the order process without errors and keeping the country operations team updated with utilisation.

Working closely with both internal (OCS, BI& country operations) and external suppliers (MNO’s) to ensure customer expectations and business targets are achieved. 

Constructively contribute in a manner that helps create a high-performing team seeking opportunities for continuous improvement.

Key accountabilities & Key metrics

Provisioning Engineer Responsibilities: 

Actively manage and implement order volumes to achieve departmental targets.

Work with the country operations to manage stock & inventory levels of SIM’s & Vouchers.

Assist in thedevelopmentofperformancereportsandimprovementplansdesignedtoincreaseproductivity.

Proactively identify improvements inbusinessprocess&automationandworkingpracticestodelivermoreeffienctly.

To be Customer focussed and forward looking with on the Voucher & SIM provisioning systems.

Operational maintenance of key systems directly related to SIM’s & Vouchers.

Plan capacity and forecast run rate on SIM states& Voucher order process.

Team Working:

Work with the Provisioning Manager to implement directives and support the development of the overall team.

Assist in the development of a suitable operating model for company with well defined processes and procedures to manage: change control, incidents and problems.

Assist in defining the team training requirements.

Assist in defining department goals, targets and priorities and present to senior management.

Continually assess working practices and review these with the Transmission Provisioning Manager.

Assist in developing a culture of ownership and quality throughout the team.

Lead by example and e hands on when required.

Qualifications

University educated, or comparable commercial experience

Specific skills & experience:

Must have good understanding of Mobile Charging System

Must have Database knowledge specially SQL & Oracle

Must have good technical and implementation knowledge of SIM life cycle management

System Admin skills of UNIX & MS Office

Order & inventory management
